An eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with the HEMI® engine, with both iterations of the CUMMINS® engine relying on a six-speed automatic transmission for gear shifts. Every powerplant is available with either rear- or four-wheel drive.

Accommodations

Three cabs are available for the RAM 3500, a one-row regular cab and the two-row crew and mega cabs. Depending on the cab you choose, the RAM 3500 can accommodate three passengers or as many as six travelers.

Every cab has 40.9 inches of legroom in the front row. You'll find 40.2 inches of second-row legroom in the crew cab. Legroom in the second row of the mega cab measures 43.1 inches.

Drivers have their choice of two bed lengths. The six-foot-four-inch bed can hold up to 57.5 cubic feet of gear or groceries. Cargo space jumps to 74.7 cubic feet for pickups with the eight-foot bed.
