Meet Our Team

Charlie Burton is the 5th Generation owner of the i.g. Burton Auto Dealerships. A Graduate of Roanoke College, Charlie initially did not work in the family business. He pursued a career in the automotive finance and insurance business working for Ryan Associates for several years. One day in the 90s, Charlie got a call asking him to come back and run the family business. Since then, he has taken ownership and expanded the company to what it is today. He is most proud of the growth of his employees. "It's a great feeling knowing you give your employees the opportunities to develop and grow and be successful."

MJ Lofland has been with the i.g. Burton auto group since 1995. He is the first person in company history to hold co-ownership of an i.g. Burton dealership since the company's establishment in 1908. In 2021, he joined Charlie Burton - President of i.g. Burton Auto Group - in purchasing i.g. Burton of Newark. Over the years has been the Director of First Impressions, Sales Professional, Salesperson, Sales Manager, and General Manager. In 2007 he was promoted to the Operations Management Team as Director of Sales. Today, MJ is the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of i.g. Burton Auto Group. In his spare time, MJ enjoys hunting and spending time with his family.

Lisa started her automotive career in 1999 working at a private repair shop where she wore many hats, including receptionist, car washer, parts person, and customer service representative. It was there that her love for the automotive business began. After a few years, she applied for a job at a local dealership and started as the Service Receptionist before becoming a Service Advisor, and then Service Manager. Her love for all things outdoors eventually drew her to the Delaware beach area. In 2008 she joined i.g. Burton as the BMW Service Manager. After working at i.g. Burton BMW for over a decade, she earned the opportunity to be part of the i.g. Burton Auto Group Executive Management team. When away from the dealership, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with their two dogs, traveling, camping, and paddleboarding.

Bernadette Jasmine joined the Executive Management Team of i.g. Burton Auto Group in July 2019. She is currently the acting HR Director. Bernadette has over ten years of experience in the automotive industry previously working for General Motors as a District Manager. Prior to the automotive business, she worked for a town government and ran a daycare center. Bernadette enjoys family time on the beach, fishing, and kayaking.

Jaime Parker joined the i.g. Burton team as Human Resources Manager in January 2023. She has two Bachelor's degrees: one in Business and another in Marketing, and she has been working in the HR field since 2016. Jaime is passionate about helping people with their careers - before and after obtaining employment. Jaime has a Daughter, Kendall, and two beloved dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the beach, running, singing, hunting, and traveling.

Mary Jane has extensive automotive experience and is a graduate of The National Dealers Academy. She has had many years of ongoing manufacturer training. Mary Jane is proud to say that her goals - both personally and professionally - are to make a positive difference in the lives of her family, friends, co-workers, and customers. She was raised to believe you can achieve your goals as long as you are willing to put in the work and maintain a positive attitude. The two core values she lives by are honesty and integrity. In her personal life, family is and always will be her "why" in life. She loves spending time with them and her best friend, Gemma - their black Labrador Retriever that was titled at the National Master Hunt Test in Oklahoma.

Caleb started with i.g. Burton Auto Group in 2007. Since then, he has held several positions, including Service Porter, Parts Advisor, Parts Manager, and Import Parts Director. He feels that i.g. Burton is a great company to work for because it has helped him grow his love for the automotive industry. Caleb is now Parts Director for all i.g. Burton Auto Group locations. In his time away from work, he likes visiting Delaware beaches with friends and family, touring local breweries, and spending time with his dog.

Eddie has been in the business for over 25 years, several of those with i.g. Burton as the General Manager of the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Milford location. He has three children. When Eddie's not managing Delmarva's Number 1 Volume Dealer, he's spending time living the local life and enjoying outdoor hobbies, including fishing and short walks on long beaches.

Brandon is the former professional football player on our i.g. Burton team. He played College Football at Penn State and then spent some time with the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. Brandon has been in the automotive business since 2008 and is the Used Car Sales Manager of the i.g. Milford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and FIAT dealership. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his sons and watching them mature into young men. 

Neil a native of Brooklyn, NY, and served four years in the United States Marine Corps. Semper Fi! He has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and has been with i.g. Burton since 2020. Neil is an active member of his church. His integrity remains grounded by his faith in God. 

John has been in the automotive business since 2020. He enjoys working with the team at i.g. Burton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT in Milford and meeting new people. When he's away from the dealership, John enjoys spending time with his daughter.

Rick has been at i.g. Burton since 2011. He enjoys boating, fishing, good food, good drinks, and, most of all - good company. For several years, Rick has been one of the top Sales Consultants within the company. He will help make your car buying experience an enjoyable one, guaranteed.

Brett has been in the car business since 2020. Most of the people who know him still refer to him as the "baseball player" because he played professional baseball for 12 seasons. 4 seasons in the Major Leagues, and 1 of those was with the Philadelphia Phillies. He has two beautiful kids and loves the beach and fishing.

Duran has been with i.g. Burton since August 2020. He started his career at i.g. Burton in Human Resources and transitioned into Sales in October 2022. Duran decided to move to sales because of his trust in the product, the team, and the company. He's a family man to his wonderful wife and three fantastic boys. In his spare time, you can find him and his family at home by the pool or fishing at the beach.

Alan loves selling Jeep products!  With over a decade of automotive experience, he finds it to be a lot of fun.  His wonderful wife and two dogs occupy most of his time when he's not at work. 

Matt spent two decades in the Detailing Department before working his way up to Internet Sales. He's a pillar in the local community that has volunteered in the local fire department for over three decades, holding positions such as Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, President, and Vice President. Matt is also a Military Veteran that served proudly in the United States Air Force. His goals are to make the buying experience as easy and pleasant as possible, to create long-lasting relationships within the business, and learn ways to better assist customers. He believes that by being positive, positive things will happen!

Neph is originally from Long Branch, New Jersey, and he started with i.g. Burton in Milford in 2019. He's an avid Jeep Fan and loves the product line. Neph is a certified Jeep, Mopar, Wagoneer, and Chrysler expert, along with a background in automotive and RV service.

Kathy has been with i.g. Burton since 2011. When she's not assisting the Internet Sales Team at i.g. Burton Chrysler Dodge Jeep FIAT in Milford, she enjoys spending time with family, horseback riding, gardening, hiking, and camping. 

Madison started at i.g. Burton as a part-time employee in 2016 while still a Senior at Milford Highschool and eventually worked to become the full-time Receptionist for the Milford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT location. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and kayaking.

Jeremy has been in the Auto industry for over 15 years, and he's been with i.g. Burton since 2015. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also likes to go Kayaking and enjoys a good game of soccer.

Linda has been with for i.g. Burton for over 20 years and in the car business for even longer. In her free time, she enjoys camping and beachcombing.

Sharon has been working at i.g. Burton since 2022. She loves to spend her time with friends and family. Sharon has a dog named Bear and a cat named Mudkip.

Kim has been in the automotive business since 1993. She's worked for the Burton family of dealerships since 2009. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Tina has been working at i.g. Burton since 2021. She started in the automotive business while searching for a locally owned and operated business to join. She enjoys camping and spending time with her family.

Fred has been in the Automotive Industry since 1991. When away from managing the Parts Department, he enjoys his old VW Type 3 and riding his motorcycle.

Bryan has been part of the i.g. Burton team since 2006. You can always contact him for all your Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, & FIAT parts questions and needs. Whether you want an accessory for your Jeep, a tonneau cover for your truck bed, or seat protectors for your car, he will take care of you.

TJ has been working at i.g. Burton since 2018. His hobbies are dirt track racing and camping with my family on the weekends. Being around cars at a young age drew him to work with cars as a career path.
